Stave Garden Chair

The Stave Garden Chair combines a sophisticated combination of native timber, bronze details, rich textures, and exemplary craftsmanship into an outdoor chair of presence and longevity.

Made with an uncompromising commitment to craftsmanship, the chair’s frame is constructed using time honoured principles of furniture making to impart strength and ensure a long life outdoors. Featuring a distinctly crisp aesthetic and bold lines, the chair also features the expansive use of a meticulously applied carved texture that dramatically catches the evening light.

Designed in collaboration with Farlam & Chandler garden design studio, the chair is made to live in, and be embraced by, the outdoors. By selecting materials that age attractively when exposed to the weather the Stave Garden Chair is designed to evolve with its environment. The chair is made from the much under-appreciated sweet chestnut tree which grows widely in the southeast of England and is highly resistant to the elements. Bronze has been chosen for the fixings because of how beautifully it patinates over time and because it too can withstand the demands of prolonged exposure to inclement weather.
